02 — The experience

Room to play.
Freedom to be themselves.

Children don’t need to perform for my camera. They need room to explore, play, laugh, and feel comfortable being themselves.

Whether we’re in a park or a studio, I follow their curiosity with patience and gentle guidance. Sometimes that means being playful; sometimes it means stepping back and letting a moment happen.

My role is to notice those moments—the unexpected smile, the thoughtful expression, the little gesture that feels unmistakably like your child. Through light and shadow, I create photographs that tell your family’s story.

Behind the lens

03 — About me

Two passions,
one curious mind.

I have always loved creating. As a child in Cuba, I drew on my bedroom walls—much to my mother’s surprise. Around the age of twelve, I discovered programming, beginning a lifelong passion for technology.

I studied computer science and later became a university professor in Cuba. Teaching gave me the joy of sharing what I knew, while my curiosity kept me learning.

Photography brought another part of me to life. While working as a photo editor with a photographer in Havana, I shared my knowledge of digital technology and learned from his experience behind the camera. His passion was contagious, and I soon fell in love with photography myself.

After marrying my wife and moving to Cienfuegos, I began building my own path as a photographer, working with quinceañeras and children. My journey in photography began more than fifteen years ago, and children’s photography holds a special place in my heart.

My approach is simple: give children the freedom to express themselves, and be ready to capture what makes them unique. I bring patience, playfulness, and a careful eye, so families can take home a memory of who their child was in that moment.
